-e BackAge - Make extensions go offline

Requirements:

  • Access to chrome://extensions
  • The option to turn on dev mode on the extensions page needs to be unblocked

Instructions:

  1. Go to chrome://extensions
  2. Turn on dev mode in the top right corner.
  3. Click on the background page of the extension you want to block.
  4. Click on Network.
  5. Click Disable Cache.
  6. Click on No throttling, and be sure to turn it off once you have finished this guide.
  7. Head to settings and scroll down. Click on the “Disable Javascript” box. DO NOT CLOSE THIS WINDOW (unless you want the extension to work again).
  8. Have fun unblocking all websites!
